Tortworth Court

Home to English aristocracy since the 14th-century. The “Gothic revival” mansion house you see today was built between 1849 and 1853. A grand oak staircase sweeps up and around the double-height reception, leading to some of the finest bedrooms and suites on the estate. With king-size beds, buttoned sofas, commissioned artwork, and beautifully-restored original features.

Your De Vere Reserve experience is apparent inside and out. For glamour and grandeur. Check out the Library Bar and 1853 Restaurant. Glorious, oak-panelled rooms with a palpable sense of history (not to mention beautiful views of the grounds). Outside, you’ll find 30 acres to explore, beautifully tended lawns. An atmospheric woodland and a notable Victorian arboretum. Further afield, the fascinating cities of Bristol and Bath are 20 and 30 miles away respectively. While some of the most beautiful English countryside – perfect for long walks – is on your doorstep.

Situated on the southernmost edge of the beautiful Cotswolds in the heart of 30 acres of rolling countryside. Tortworth Mansion House is a truly majestic country house hotel, offering the very best De Vere Reserve experience. As you approach the estate, country lanes and hedgerows gradually become more manicured as the magnificent main house comes into view. Setting the scene for your stay at Tortworth Mansion House. A glorious mix of historical intrigue and contemporary hotel elegance, of intimate corners, grand spaces and warm, welcoming De Vere Reserve service.

Just 20 mins from Bristol, 30 mins from Bristol Parkway and with easy access to J14 of the M5. De Vere Tortworth Court has 14 event spaces and meeting rooms for conferences, meetings and training, with 30 acres of grounds for team building.

The Westminster Suite is a light and airy space with its floor-to-ceiling windows and doors opening out to the grounds. Ideal for larger events up to 400 guests. Filled with character, thanks to their wooden panelled walls and high ceilings. The recently refurbished Victoria and Kitchener meeting rooms are popular with organisers looking for smaller spaces with capacity for up to 50 guests in both. The Orangery offers the most impressive space. Built in 1874, this Victorian conservatory reveals ornamental glass ceiling and windows along with period detailing for up to 100 guests.
